Although this is basically about a young couple aiming to establish an artists’ colony attached to the house and outbuildings they have inherited, it is more about the would-be residents and their emotional problems than the art works they want to sell. Some of these are impressive, others less so, but the intermingling of the personalities involved and their effects on each others’ lives (often beneficial!) creates a pleasantly rolling narrative.
